Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These terms apply when you book a photography shoot with Shutter & Speed Photography ("we", "us") through shutterandspeed.co.nz. By submitting a booking, you agree to these terms.

Our services

We provide real estate photography, video, drone and twilight photography, and floor plans in Whangarei and Northland, New Zealand, as described in our current packages.

Bookings and payment

Prices are shown in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) at the time of booking. You can pay by bank transfer (details provided after you confirm a booking) or by card through Stripe's secure checkout. We don't receive or store your card details — Stripe processes them directly.

Promotional pricing (e.g. first-booking discounts) applies as described on the site at the time you book and may change for future bookings.

Rescheduling and cancellations

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed booking, ideally at least 48 hours before the scheduled shoot. We'll do our best to accommodate changes, but shoots cancelled with little notice (e.g. due to access issues on the day) may not be refundable — get in touch and we'll work it out case by case.

Deliverables and turnaround

We aim for a fast turnaround on edited photos, video and floor plans, consistent with what's described in your chosen package. If you have a hard deadline (e.g. a listing going live), let us know when booking so we can plan around it.

Intellectual property

We retain copyright in the photos, video and other deliverables we produce. By booking a shoot, you're granted a licence to use the deliverables for marketing and listing the relevant property (e.g. on real estate listing sites, social media, and print materials). Reuse beyond that purpose should be discussed with us first.

Liability

We take care to deliver the service as described, but to the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from a shoot (for example, a delayed listing). Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that can't be excluded by agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
